It is a matter of great pride for me to serve as the Registrar of Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Hamirpur. Technical education plays a pivotal role in national development by imparting knowledge, skills, and values essential for innovation and progress.

Established with the objective of promoting excellence in teaching, research, and training in the fields of engineering, technology, pharmacy, applied sciences, and management, the University is committed to providing quality and industry-oriented education aligned with emerging technological advancements.

The University, through its Academic Branch, ensures effective implementation of academic policies, curriculum development, and examination reforms to maintain academic excellence. The Examination Section plays a vital role in conducting examinations, maintaining evaluation standards, and ensuring timely declaration of results with utmost transparency and fairness. The Finance Branch diligently manages budgeting, accounting, and financial planning to ensure transparency and sustainability. The Project and Estate Office oversees the planning, development, and maintenance of modern infrastructure, providing a conducive environment for learning and research. The Establishment and Administration Branch efficiently handles human resource management, service matters, and overall administrative coordination to ensure smooth institutional functioning.

The University is proud of its affiliated colleges, which play a vital role in extending quality technical education across the state. The dedication and hard work of the students and faculty members, both in the University campus and its affiliated institutions, contribute significantly to realizing the University’s vision of academic excellence, innovation, and social responsibility.
